Sibenik, the oldest native Croatian city on the Adriatic known as the royal city, the city where Croatian kings were crowned. Besides the beautiful Sibenik cathedral near the town rise the fortress St. Mihovil and Barone offering stunning views of the Sibenik archipelago.
Near Sibenik there are two national parks Krka and Kornati.
